Julius Park

Julius Park

Julias Park is one of the oldest spa parks in continental Croatia!

The spa park has the stylistic characteristics of the Baroque era (with elements of historicism and English landscape garden art style) and as such is protected. Within this spa park there are buildings from the 18th and 19th century, numerous baths and villas that complete the contents of the spa park.

The spa park grew in parallel with the construction of the baths, especially during the period of Antun’s successors Izidor and Julija Janković, and today it houses 60 different species of plants. In addition, inside the park there is a fountain with a bronze sculpture called the “Woman bather“made by Antun Augustinčić in 1927.
